• Vacation Bible School is in need of paper towel tubes for a VBS Project. The tubes can be dropped outside the office.
• We will celebrate Mrs. Wallschlaeger’s 30 years of ministry with a potluck and program on Sunday, May 20 after the late service. We hope you can join us.
• Graduations: Preschool Completion Ceremony is Wednesday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the gym. Eighth grade graduation is Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the church. Kindergarten graduation is Thursday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.
• PTL Picnic is Thursday, May 24.

Our annual ILS Spring Band/Choir Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Beginning Band, Advanced Band, and Middle School Choir will all perform that evening. In addition the Art Show will be up for display that evening. All school families and members of the congregation are invited to join us.

Immanuel will honor Mrs. Martha Wallschlaeger for her 30 years in the teaching ministry on Sunday, May 20 at 12:00 p.m. in the gym. Congratulatory wishes, cards, and monetary gifts of appreciation may be dropped off in the school office or in the gift box the day of the celebration. This will be a potluck so please plan to bring a main dish and a side dish or salad.  Dessert will be provided.

Immanuel Lutheran Church and School has a long history of reaching out to families in the community who want their child to have a quality Christian education. In some cases these families are not be able to afford full tuition and tuition assistance has been offered. We have a unique opportunity to help these families. A matching grant of $10,000 is being considered, meaning that if the school can raise $10,000 an additional $10,000 will go toward helping families with tuition assistance. In a few weeks a letter will come home with the details. Please consider giving!
